One of the things you won't complain about in Kiev is food. There's a large selection of restaurants and cafeterias offering almost any type of dish. If you're in for the traditional food, you should check out the Puzata Khata restaurant on the Basarabska street. Try to keep your eyes off the girls serving, though it won't be easy. And it is cheap too. For a selection of international cuisine, try the Wall.
