Kiev in a day

Kiev isn't a place you can visit in just one day. Still, if you're only there for a short period of time, there are a number of things you shuldn't miss. First of all, take a tour of the city's centre. It'll get you an idea of the architectural style. Then take a trip to the Caves Monastery. Here you'll see what Orthodoxy is all about. While browsing the city's centre, you can't miss Chornobyl Museum or the St Sophia's Cathedral. The National Opera Theatre building; impressive architecture. Souvenirs you can get on Andriyivsky street. Still, the best thing to do is prolongue your stay for a week or so.
