Is it worth going to Odessa?(give a different answer) .
On my tour through Ukraine this summer I got to visit the city of Odessa by the Black Sea. We heard a lot of things about this favourite seaside resort of the Russians, but what we all wanted to see was the Potemkin Steps, the location used for the massacre scene in Eisenstein's movie. We were quite surprised to see that that was not all this city had to offer. The Vorontsov Palace, the Pasazh Shopping Arcade (a "mall" built in the 19th century), or the Londonskaya Hotel Museum are just a few of the places you shouldn't miss out on when you get there. The Black Sea though wasn't so impressive though.
