The Yalta conferrence fromm 1945 took place at the Great Livadia Palace in Yalta, which has become an international landmark. In the february of that year, Roosevelt, churchill and Stalin met here to decide on the future of the rest of the world. This location is probably the most atractive for the tourists. if you ever get to Yalta, take a cab 3 km to the South and see where history was made.
